    PMA Architecture is a group of architects and designers committed to planning, creating and preserving places that enhance our perception and understanding of the natural and built environment. Our work addresses a wide spectrum of uses and projects which address health care, housing, preservation, recreation, workplace, and The Arts.     PMA Architecture’s History

    PMA Architecture’s History

    The firm that became PMA Architecture was originally established by Jack Stodghill, FAICP in 1975. PMA became a significant planning practice in Virginia and North Carolina over the 1980’s. In 1990, Jeff Stodghill joined the firm and expanded the firm’s offerings to include architectural services and historic preservation. Katie Stodghill joined the firm in 1999 bringing interior design to PMA. The firm's areas of focus are Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, Historic Preservation, and Planning.
